Advice

Do not overload boxes:

When packing, please ensure you do not overload boxes. Large boxes should be used for bulky items and smaller boxes should be used for small heavy items such as books and paper work. Our staff are fully trained, although they are not body builders so if you cant lift it yourself then you know it has been over packed and it may burst under the strain of being lifted.

Do not Under-load boxes:

Where possible, try to distribute boxes as evenly as possible. This ensures that boxes which are stacked for transit/Storage do not collapse if heavy boxes are placed on top of them.

Food & Household appliances:

Food should be removed from cupboards and packed prior to your move. Remember to make sure all caps and lids are secured to avoid spillage and it is a good idea to put bottles that may leak into plastic bags before packing. Defrost your fridge and freezer no later than the day before and ensure all appliances that contain water such as your fridge/freezer and washing machine are drained and dried out before the move.
